Late afternoon and we went to a show – The Fab Four (Beatles Tribute). It was excellent but could have gone for a lot longer! This was inside the Planet Hollywood casino which has a mile long shopping strip. We had a drink in a sports bar where these guys were playing Beer Pong. The opposing sides stand at opposite ends of a table tennis table and have cups of beer set up (much like skittles) and they have to throw ping pong balls into the cups at the other end. If you get one in the other team have to down a beer. Interesting :-)
We spent a little more time on the strip once the sun went down and the lights came on. While we were out a storm developed – the lightening was great and we even enjoyed the drenching we got. Things dry up really quickly though!
The cosmetic surgeon's over here must be earning a FORTUNE. It seemed that every second female (from 18-80!) in Vegas had 'new airbags', lol.
After playing the machines for a little while we had an early night (11pm ish) as we had to be up at 4am. These early flights are killing us! We are sitting in the Las Vegas airport and are looking forward to a slower pace in San Antonio (we hope!) We would tell you more about this leg of our trip but you all know the saying – 'What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas' :-)
